The W.E.L.L. Summit is looking forward to welcoming Eileen Mockus as she leads attendees through her Breakout Session on how to create an eco-friendly home sanctuary. She’ll share with us what to look for, what to avoid, and how to ensure personal style is always part of the equation. Attendees will leave with a handout on how to shop stylish, sustainable textiles for the home.

You can find, at this point, pretty much anything you want or need in the sustainable or ethical version: work clothes, party clothes, lingerie, jewelry and more! Alden will share how to mindfully update your closet so it aligns with YOUR personal style and personal values, whether it’s living lightly on the earth, being kind to animals, or supporting female artisans.

Ayur-whatta?! Come learn learn about what the heck Ayurveda is! The ancient science reminds us to eat with the seasons and integrate lifestyle practices into our week to simply keep us feeling great: vibrant, energetic and digestively happy.

Cyc is an evolution for your generation. Cycologists will lead riders of all levels through an exhilarating, beat-based 45-minute ride with weighted moves inspired by boxing, rowing and swimming. The studio feels like a nightclub, with DJ curated playlists and state-of-the-art lighting. Attendees will get to enjoy full use of the David Barton Gym and the spa-like locker rooms as well.

Learn More About Cyc


During the Xtend Barre Offsite Fitness Class, attendees get to experience a signature Xtend Barre class. It brings in elements of dance, ballet and Pilates to create an adrenaline-fueled workout that strengthens, lengthens and chisels the body. Attendees will learn the elegant, yet energetic, combination of movements that enhance flexibility, improve balance, and challenge the core. The session is precluded by a 10 minute introduction to Xtend Barre by studio owner Amanda Cort and she can’t wait to meet you at the barre!

Time: 45 minutes | 1 Offsite Session – *Please note class is capped at 25 people. If Attendee does not have grip socks, they can be purchased onsite for $14. 


Neal Halfon

Neal Halfon, MD, MPH is founding director of the UCLA Center for Healthier Children, Families and Communities, and also directs the Child and Family Health Leadership and Training Program in the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. Dr. Halfon is professor of pediatrics in the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA; health policy and management in the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health; and public policy in the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. Is well known for his health related publications.
