Siobhan O’Connor – WELL Summit

color-300x300-2068528 Siobhan O’Connor is a journalist, author and editor with a focus on health, food, wellness and science. As TIME Magazine’s Health Director, she oversees all of the brand’s health and science coverage across all platforms, reaching more than 50 million readers each month. Her most recent cover story was about over-treatment of early-stage breast cancer.

Prior to joining TIME, she was Executive Editor at the integrative health magazine Prevention. There, she produced more articles than she can count about meditation, emotion, nutrition, aromatherapy, acupuncture and medicine. She has been a magazine editor in New York for nearly 15 years and speaks regularly about health and wellness in the media.

She is the co-author of the natural beauty bible No More Dirty Looks: The Truth About Your Beauty Products and the Ultimate Guide to Safe and Clean Cosmetics and the website of the same name. She grew up in Montreal and lives in Brooklyn, where she spends most of her free time cooking with her husband in their way-too-small kitchen, going to yoga, trying to meditate and dabbling in all sorts of other weird wellness techniques.
