One of our favorite things at the W.E.L.L. Summit is connecting our tribe with other like-minded events, people and places. And because we know the power of yoga and its benefits, we immediately got excited when we heard about the Nantucket Yoga Festival on July 8 – 10, 2016. The three-day retreat is full of experienced teachers and experts to help you take your practice to the next level, making it a perfect summer getaway (beach, sun, yoga and fun – you couldn’t really ask for more!). Plus, since you’re part of the W.E.L.L. Summit Tribe, you get a big perk! Join us at the Nantucket Yoga Festival and enter “wellsummittribe” at checkout for $50 off a full pass or $25 off a day pass!

Named the number one island in the world by National Geographic, there truly is no other place quite like Nantucket. This very special island sits 30 miles out at sea off the coast of Massachusetts. It is unique, beautiful, breathtaking, and if it is not already, should be on your “Bucket List” of must see places. The island offers pristine beaches; delicious restaurants; lots of history and an abundance of activities. Book your trip and be sure to schedule it during the second week of July, so that you can experience not only the island, but also experience the Nantucket Yoga Festival.

The Nantucket Yoga Festival brings together the very best yoga instructors, wellness experts, and healthy living guides for one truly inspiring weekend. Each year, festival workshops on Saturday and Sunday take place at Bartlett’s Ocean View Farm, Nantucket Island’s oldest and largest family-owned farm.  The classes will be held under tent, amidst the over 100 acres of flowers, herbs and vegetables, offering ocean views and fresh salt air, for a truly one-of-a kind experience.

Before or after workshops you can visit over 30 talented vendors. The festival marketplace will feature artists, clothing, jewelry, yoga wear and a wellness area offering massage, Reiki and Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis.

Kick off the weekend with the opening night celebration at the The Westmoor Club on Friday, July 8. Mix and mingle with the festival instructors. Enjoy a delicious dinner featuring local and organic ingredients lovingly prepared by chef Bruce Sacino paired with fresh pressed juices and organic and bio dynamic wines.

Opening night will feature New York Times best selling author Stephen Cope, breathtaking acro-yoga with the YogaSlackers and the truly transformational music of Jami Sieber.

While there may be other yoga festivals there is only one Nantucket. There is so much positive energy on and off the mat – it’s one festival you don’t want to miss. So make sure you visit the site to learn more about the teachers, sponsors, vendors, tickets and how to get to this magical island.
